It was a spectacular Sinulog weekend as Pyroworks International, Inc. together with SM City Cebu, Apple One, Rose Pharmacy & Salon De Rose held back-to-back fireworks shows that lit up the skies all night long.
Eight pyrotechnic companies from around the country competed at the 4th Sinulog Pyrofest competition last January 14, with winners declared based on their fireworks displays’ beauty, style, timing, and audience impact. Pyroworks then capped off the night in brilliant fashion with a demo pyromusical, a prelude to a grander show the following night.
As the Sinulog celebrations reached their peak last January 15, Pyroworks definitely took center stage.
In lieu of a typical fireworks display with music playing in the background, the Pyroworks team presented “The Pyrospectacular Pyromusical”, a show where fireworks of all shapes, colors, and sizes were launched in precise timing with soundtracks from Mission Impossible, LMFAO, Sinulog Beats, Michael Bublé , and Romeo & Juliet.
Expertly choreographed and using only world-class quality pyrotechnics, the show was an epic masterpiece of light and sound. Spectators cheered throughout the perfectly synchronized show and roared with approval as it came to a dramatic finish that colored the sky golden.
A Cebu-based company, Pyroworks was the official provider for the Sinulog Opening Salvo, Sinulog Festival Queen, and Grand Fireworks at the Cebu City Sports Center.
